Using Web Printing Services

SuperMap iServer has a built-in Web printing service that can be viewed and used by visiting the service list (iserver/services) or the service management page. So-called Web printing is the output of Web content that you create in a Web application as a printable map document.

Application scenario

The main application scenarios of iServer Web printing service include:

• Make your SuperMap iPortal data map on the Web App WebMap, output as a printable document.
• Export the Web Map that you created on the third-party Web application that you built on the iClient to a printable document.

How to use

You can use iServer Web printing services in two ways:

1. Three-party Web applications can use iServer Web printing service through the REST API to enable the output of a Web Map made in a Web application as a printable document.
2. Web by configuring the iServer for the SuperMap iPortal Print service, realize printing in the data map Web App, and output the produced WebMap as a printable document.
