After the creation of the print task is completed, the download address of the print report is returned. The Download Print Report button will appear on the iServer Create Print Task page. Click this button to download the printable map document.

The output formats supported by the Web printing service are: PNG, PDF, which can be specified in the POST request parameter that creates the print job. Output PDF documents support stepless zooming and multi-layer display. Support the output of map documents with large size (A1 and A2 map sheets) and high precision (400 DPI).

Output the font configuration in the printed document

The text font in the WebMap layer is specified when you create the Map. If Microsoft YaHei or the font you specify is not available in the system font library of the machine where the iServer is located, the iServer It will try to continue to load other system fonts, which are bold, Song, Fangsong and Kai in turn.

Text font in layout layer: specified by the layout template you choose or create, such as map main title, subtitle, author, copyright information, legend name, etc. The default font is Microsoft Yahei. If you need to modify the text font in the document, you can set the corresponding font modification settings for the text font property (Text Field) of thelayout template in SuperMap iDesktop/iDesktopX or Jaspersoft Studio software..

If the font you need is not available in the system font library, you can choose one of the following two ways to expand the font:

  1. Manually installing system fonts

You can manually install the required fonts to the system font library without restarting the iServer after installation.

  1. Place font files on iServer In the specified directory

Linux environment: You can put the font file in the 【iServer installation directory\support\fonts】 directory, and the iServer will be in the Automatically load within 60s without restarting iServer.

Windows environment: You need to create a new fonts folder in the 【iServer installation directory \ support】 directory, and put the font files in the 【iServer installation directory\support\fonts】 directory, and then start iServer 。

Note: Fonts in the.ttc format need to be expanded using method 2 (put in the iServer specified directory).

Export PDF documents

The PDF document output by the Web printing service retains the WebMap layers and Layput Template, providing high-quality map printing materials. Multi-layer display of layout is supported, including: map main title, subtitle, north arrow, main map, small map, legend, map author, copyright information, etc. You can You can control the visibility of these layout layers in the PDF, you can adjust the position of these layer elements, and you can edit the layer content.

PDF retains the text in the WebMap map layers and Layput Template, so you can use the editing features of the PDF editor to edit some of the vector features and text layers in the map. For example, text information such as map main title, subtitle, legend, and legend element name can be found in Modify the font, Font Size, color, and adjust the position in PDF. However, it is not recommended to do a lot of map-related editing in PDF, and it is only suitable for fine-tuning the map, such as adjusting the position of individual label text.
