SuperMap iPortal has a built-in, out-of-box WebApp (MapDashboard), which provides a rich library of visual components to help users build various two-dimensional and three-dimensional map applications easily via a graphical interface and interactive operations. MapDashboard WebApp is applied to various projects such as conferences and exhibitions, business monitoring, analysis and decision.
MapDashboard supports to add a variety of visual components, it is convenient for you to quickly create a map visual dashboard. In the navigation bar of SuperMap iPortal home page, click MapDashboard in the "Application Center" drop-down menu to enter MapDashboard, where you can create dashboard, edit dashboard, set dashboard, preview/save and publish.
After logging in to iPortal, you can access the MapDashboard WebApp in the following ways to create dashboard resources (requires the user to be a "creator" type and have roles with permissions to create, update, and delete dashboards, such as PORTAL_USER. On the "Resource Center" > "MapDashboard" page, click "Create MapDashboard" on the right
On the "App Center" page, click the MapDashboard logo on the left sidebar, select a template on the welcome page on the right, and click "New" to enter the MapDashboard page
The general process of creating a new map screen includes: create dashboard, add visual components, set dashboard, preview/save and publish.
MapDashboard provides a variety of built-in dashboard templates. You can quickly create a visual dashboard based on the templates or customize a new MapDashboard. For details about creating project, see: Create dashboard.
MapDashboard supports building multiple pages in a dashboard, which can display different visual information. You can create multi-pages dashboard by creating empty pages, or based on template or existing dashboard application. In addition, you can create a masterPage and apply to different pages to keep a unified dashboard style. It also improve the efficiency of dashboard construction. In MapDashboard, chart components, data components, and text lists, etc. need to be associated with data for use. The MapDashboard provides a data panel to facilitate adding, viewing, and managing the data involved in these components, see: Add and manage data.
MapDashboard provides a rich library of visual components, including: map components, map subcomponents, graphmap components, chart components, basic components, data components, tool components, layout components, etc. MapDashboard also supports users to expand and develop various custom components. MapDashboard provides a built-in low-code editor for developers with front-end development foundations such as JavaScript. You can easily customize your dashboard application by writing a few code, which effectively improves the efficiency of development and customization. For details , see: Online low-code editing.
MapDashboard supports multi-user real-time collaborative editing, you can create and edit dashboard with multiple users. The dashboard will synchronize the editing content of each user in real time, automatically save the history version, and support viewing and restoring at any time. After adding visual components, you can create a dashboard meeting your visualization needs with various dashboard settings. For details, see: Style setting.
The finished dashboard supports to preview effects with different kinds of devices such as Desktop, Pad and Phone environments.
