drag and drop data

GPAModelBuilder in the data catalog display portal in the “My Data” resource, you can drag and drop data sources and data sets node to the modeling process as a variable to connect with the tool, to participate in the automated processing modeling process.

Before you can use the data, you need to configure the iPortal root address on the Add Server page of Administration > Servers > Server List, and configure the data metadata store on the Data Metadata Store page of Administration > Site Configuration > Data Stores, to request data storage information.

View Catalog

• Default Catalog: Display my data resources in two types, file-based data and relational database. File-based data currently only supports SuperMap UDB, Shapefile, FileGDB, and relational database currently only supports POSTGIS database. Support expanding the catalog to view the list of data sources and datasets.
• My Catalog: Show my data resources in my catalog, which can be customized in Resource Center > Data > My Data.

View meta information

The contents of the data meta-information include:

• Data source name;
• Data source type: including file-based, relational databases;
• Dataset name;
• Dataset type;
• Geometry type: including point, line, and surface;
• Coordinate system;
• Data volume;
• Creator;
• Creation time;
• Dataset field information: contains field name, display name and type

You can view data meta information as follows:

• Select the data and click "View Meta Information" to bring up the View Meta Information window.
• Drag and drop the data into the blank area of the canvas, click on the data, and then click "View Details" in the right panel to bring up the window for viewing metadata.

Use Data

Support drag and drop the data source or dataset into the canvas as a data input to connect with other tools, after connecting the tool's source dataset parameter configuration will be filled automatically, no need to fill in manually. Meanwhile, the field parameter configuration of the tool can recognize all the fields of the dataset.

After the parameter configuration is completed, click the “Execute” button on the upper right corner of the page to run the model in order to complete the entire processing automation process.
