Reverse proxy means that the proxy server receives the requests from Web client, transmits the requests to server of internal network system, gets the results from internal servers and then returns the results to the Web client. The proxy server is a server for outside. The client doesn't know other servers.
SuperMap iPortal, iServer and iEdge support reverse proxy. This help takes the iServer as an example to introduce how to configure reverse proxy in nginx and apache. The configuration of iEdge and iPortal are the same.
