Introduction to Eclipse

Eclipse is a multi-language software development environment comprising an integrated development environment (IDE) and an extensible plug-in system.

Eclipse is a most commonly used Java IDE (Integrated Development Environment) , but more than that. In this example, Eclipse is primarily used as Java IDE. For more about Eclipse, please refer to the relevant docs.
